Our roots go back to 1935, when Robert Mordue bought a truck
and began moving families in and around Peoria, Illinois. Mr. Mordue’s
company grew and prospered by paying close attention to the details that
turn an ordinary move into an extraordinary moving experience.
The granddaughter
of the founder, Joy Adams, and her husband, Russ Adams, purchased Mordue
Moving and Storage in 1978. Along with the rest of the Mordue
team, they have continued the customer-oriented traditions of the founder.
In 1983, Mordue became an agent for Paul Arpin Van Lines, the seventh
largest van line in the United States. Today, Mordue is one of the
largest of Paul
Arpin agents.

Our offices, dispatching and storage facilities are located in Peoria,
Illinois. From our centralized location, we can move you across town,
across the country, or virtually anywhere in the world. View

Mordue Racing competes nationally on the Sports Car Club of America, GT-1
circuit, and locally in the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series. Click

We are as committed to our community as we are to the thousands of individuals
and families we have moved.
Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation
Mordue provides storage, transportation and logistical support in the
days and weeks leading up to the annual Race
for the Cure. Employees
are encouraged to participate in the race or volunteer for other support
duties. We also organize the Peoria stop of the BMW/Susan
G. Komen Ultimate Drive, a cross-country road rally. These two
events raise millions of dollars each year to support breast cancer
education and research.
St. Jude Midwest Affiliate
Mordue is a corporate sponsor of the St. Jude Golf Classic, which supports
research and treatment of childhood cancer.
